Southern Baptists Say NO to Female Pastors & Spark Backlash

But in this episode, I want to take the conversation deeper. We spend a lot of time discussing what women cannot do — and we should be clear about that. But why does nobody want to talk about what women can do? Women can teach other women. Women can disciple children. Women can evangelize the lost. Women can defend the faith. Women can serve the vulnerable. Women can support gospel ministry. Women can practice hospitality. Women can pray, counsel, exhort, and train younger women in holiness. So why is that not enough?

If teaching women and children is beneath you, then ministry is not your goal. Status is. The Bible does not silence women. The Bible orders the church.

The Southern Baptist Women Pastors Controversy
