 Wisdom, today it focuses on the temptation and trials but especially to teachers. The question presented by James: “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you?” James is speaking of wisdom which comes from Proverbs 2:6 “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” That only comes from God, and all we have to do is Ask of Him. James 1:5 says “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not (not reprimanding; not scold); and it shall be given him.”

A rose by any other name is still a rose. Dear readers, this is about a thought for you to think about. I am not looking down or judging anyone with their celebration of Halloween. Jesus is the only judge. But I must warn you what the scriptures say.

Several New Testament passages clearly teach that Jesus is the ultimate Judge of humanity, given authority by the Father to judge both the living and the dead.

ACTS Chapter 13 KJV

  

Acts 13 recounts the calling of Paul and Barnabas to missions beyond Syrian Antioch and their travels to the island of Cyprus and up into the heart of modern-day Asia Minor (eastern Turkey). In this short time, Barnabas and Paul face opposition, abandonment, and slander. The chapter begins with the Holy Spirit setting the two aside for ministry to the Gentiles and ends with affirmation of that mission.

First, the narrative turns from Peter and the other apostles and begins the transition wherein Paul becomes the focus of Luke's story. Paul (still going by his Jewish name "Saul") is with Barnabas and other church leaders in Syrian Antioch. During a time of fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit directly calls out the pair for a special mission (Acts 13:1–3).

Are you tired of this video being re-run? Then put down the guns, stop the killings, and tell somebody let's love and not hate.

Teach the children, and adults.


Keep resting in the Lord’s presence and committing it entirely to Him. 

Put the guns down.

Stop all the killings.

Learn to love and not hate.

Seems like the smarter we become the more hateful we become.

Lets keep it simple and just love one another.

Let's stop the tears of another family standing around a grave of someone gone too soon!
