I just want to share with you a few thoughts about what has taken place this past year. We started out the year 2020 with the saying of a perfect vision for the New Year. And as some of us look back over this past year, we did not see it as God’s perfect vision for us.

A Hit In The Gut!

Black history can hit us in the gut, dredging up hurts from our own childhood years. Hated for our skin color, we rarely found love, acceptance, and safety outside family except in one place: The Black church.

Sexual sins were rampant in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. (This is the origin of the word sodomy.) Despite warnings, they refused to repent. God destroyed those cities and it was recorded as a warning to all future generations (Genesis 18:20-21, Genesis 19:4-5, 2 Peter 2:6).
